Contender Fishing Charters

The Contender charter fishing team is located in the Port of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, one of the premier salmon ports in the United States as recognized by Field and Stream Magazine. Contender’s three captains, Todd Felsinger, Dan Montemayor, and Dave Mulligan, have over 90 collective years of Lake Michigan fishing experience and are enthusiastic sportsmen that love the outdoors. All three captains have been part of winning fishing tournament teams and have had success in placing in “big fish” contests or categories. The Contender’s fishing team wants to guide you and your friends in pursuit of your trophy Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, or Lake Trout. The Contender is owned by Eric Zufelt, an attorney by trade, who will occasionally work a charter. He is available to discuss certain legal questions, but he advises that fishing is about leaving problems or issues on the shoreline.

Contender Cruising Charters

The Contender is a clean, comfortable, and spacious vessel with nice accommodations that are also available for non-fishing outings such as shoreline cruises, birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or other special occasions.
